Rachel Mikita (she/her) is a writer, poet, and theater-maker from Blacklick, PA, and Flint, TX. She attended Sarah Lawrence College and is currently based in Brooklyn, NY. Her non-fiction work has been published in Love and Squalor and The Coal Hill Review. She was a finalist for The Plentitudes 2023 Prize in Poetry. Her poem “Stranger Daughter” was published in Columbia Journal as the winner of the 2022 Print Poetry Contest. She has work forthcoming in Thimble Literary Magazine.
