Leslie Kendall Dye has worked at many trades. She is a professional actor, and has worked in film, television, and theater. She is a retired ballet dancer and currently coaches. She is a freelance writer, whose essays have appeared at The Atlantic, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Salon, The Millions, Electric Literature, SELF, The Los Angeles Review of Books, Longreads, and others. Her first fiction, a short story, is slated for publication at Thriller Magazine in June 2025.
