A newsletter is a no-brainer in the Substack and ConvertKit era, which has seen newsletters like Morning Brew and The Hustle turn into multi-million dollar businesses. In this masterclass with Courtney Kocak, founder of the newsletter Podcast Bestie (a best friend to aspiring and indie podcasters), will teach creative professionals to harness the power of direct content marketing to propel your audience, network, and business to new heights with a growing email list. Over the course of this class, students will learn the art of launching and evolving a newsletter that serves as a strong foundation for your professional endeavors.
What you will learn
Courtney will share her advice for planning clickable and shareable content, sustainable editorial strategies, and cultivating a dedicated online community. This workshop is geared specifically toward writers, but whether you are an author, a podcaster, a freelancer, an entrepreneur, or an aspiring thought leader, this class will provide you with the essential knowledge and skills to create a successful and impactful newsletter. By the end of the three hours, you'll have narrowed down your concept and come up with a solid plan for launching and growing your newsletter. You'll receive a PDF containing a recap and resources. This workshop will be recorded and available for 60 days afterward.

Courtney Kocak is a writer, podcaster, and comedian based in Los Angeles. She wrote for Amazon’s Emmy-winning animated series Danger & Eggs and Netflix’s Know It All podcast.
