About the workshop
Are you considering applying for an MFA and not sure if it's right for you, or if it's the right time? Find out in this reflective session with writer and coach Danielle Lazarin.
Details
Led by writer Danielle Lazarin, this free session is an overview of what it means to commit to the MFA application process as well as an open Q&A. In addition to completing her own MFA at the University of Michigan (the Helen Zell Program for Writers), Danielle has served as a coach for students applying for full time and low-residency programs for many years, and as a reader for prose applications for a competitive MFA program multiple times; she's well versed in the process and its steps.
We'll address such questions as:
-Is an MFA right for you, right now?
-What are your program options or alternatives?
-What are the time, financial, and other commitments that are required to start this process?
-What's the best way to start the research process on programs?
