<div>As someone who's been on both sides of this exact situation, there's absolutely nothing wrong with reaching out to ask about it! It may feel like you're bothering them, but unless they're just naturally cranky, I can pretty much guarantee that won't be the case.</div>

<div>I recently reached out (via Submittable). I'd reworked my story, so I sent the pubs a message and uploaded the refreshed MS in case they were interested. Some pubs disable the upload function, so you'll have to reach out via email.</div>
