WTAW offers two annual contests, the WTAW Alcove Chapbook Competition and the Kevin McIlvoy Book Prize. All entries are considered for publication. Submission fees go directly to author payments (awards and contract royalties), book production and promotion. Our new imprint, Betty publishes solely books by women for everyone.

WTAW Press publishes full-length books of prose (novels, memoirs, creative nonfiction, collections of stories and essays, hybrids etc.) WTAW Alcove Chapbook Series publishes chapbooks of the same.

WTAW contracts with freelance professionals for all aspects of book publication, production, and marketing. We offer internships for those who are interested in learning small press publishing from the inside.
