swallow::tale prioritizes multiply-marginalized writers. First-time authors, especially those that have survived psychiatric institutionalization/abuse, are particularly encouraged to submit.
Formal diagnosis is not required to submit. An identification with Mad pride, liberation, and technique is enough.
We welcome previously self-published works, including zines. Multilingual submissions also welcomed and encouraged. Translations welcome with explicit consent from the original author.
