new words {press} is here to elevate emerging and established trans* and gender-expansive poetic voices, to build community, and share knowledge. we have been honored by so much support over a short period of time. the answer is, yes, we publish ONLY trans* and gender-expansive poets; HOWEVER, that poetry is for all audience.
we never charge a fee for submissions, and we pay contributors $15 + a copy. down with gatekeeping.
