Melissa Matury is a retired school principal who spent the first half of her adulthood moving around the world as the wife of a United States Marine. She settled in San Diego with her family where she currently writes, repairs her empty nest, and runs in the perfect weather. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts from the University of California Riverside.
