Weber — The Contemporary West

Weber—The Contemporary West invites submissions for its first online-only issue. Accepting short stories (up to 6,000 words), creative nonfiction (up to 4,000 words), poetry (up to four pages or poems, or one long poem of the same page count), and art/photography (up to five images). Works should engage with the environment and culture of the contemporary western United States and beyond. No previously published or AI-generated works accepted. Submissions must be emailed with genre and name in the subject line. Response time up to six months.

No multiple submissions; simultaneous submissions allowed but notify if accepted elsewhere. No previously published or AI-generated works accepted. Translations accepted if original not in English.
