Additional info
We don’t accept works that play into the traditional oppressiveness of the literary canon, i.e. voicing the stories we hear often from the perspectives of cishet, white, upper-class able-bodied males. No slurs, unless you’re reclaiming them; if this is the case, please be sure that these slurs align with identities you’ve told us you have in your bio.
About the Magazine
Founded in 2013 | United States
This is a world in which the loudest voices are the marginalized. This is a world of poetry, prose, art, reviews, and interviews that fits outside the mainstream literary scene, yet still of significant literary merit. We actively seek work from authors and creators from diverse and marginalized backgrounds and identities. We don’t care who has (not) published your work in the past. We are interested in hearing from those who are drowning.
