About the Magazine
Founded in 2017 | United States
The Sunlight Press is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, digital literary journal that provides a home to new and established voices. We welcome creative nonfiction, fiction, poetry, book and film reviews, photography, and reflections by artists on their craft. We want to hear the ways people turn toward light and hope, whether it is through the arts, culture, spirituality, or humor, and also how they respond to darkness and navigate unknown spaces. Epiphanies are born from the ordinary and the extraordinary; whether it’s a reflection unfolding during a morning walk, after the loss of a loved one, or in the middle of unexpected laughter, we want to know about these moments. The Sunlight Press publishes on Mondays and Wednesdays, and occasionally on Fridays. Creative nonfiction, including essays, reviews, and artists on craft pieces, as well as photography, appear on Mondays. Poetry and fiction appear on Wednesdays. We regularly publish additional posts, including Editors’ Notes and contest news, and occasionally offer full weeks of one genre.
