We welcome students aged 12-22 to submit their artistic and literary pieces to our magazine.

Monochrome STEAM is a youth-led 501(c)(3) non-profit aimed at promoting diverse voices in STEAM through our monthly magazine, The Monochrome. Led by a team of award-winning artists and writers, we recognize a gap in opportunities for young voices to express their beliefs. In our vision, the term “monochrome” represents the external perception that STEAM subjects may appear uniform or singular in color. However, internally, they are a vibrant spectrum, rich with diverse voices, perspectives, and experiences.

We welcome a diverse array of submissions, ranging from digital art and poetry to critical essays and research papers.

We welcome students aged 12-22 to submit their literary pieces related to STEM as well as their artwork to our magazine, The Monochrome. We especially encourage youth from historically marginalized backgrounds to submit to our magazine!
