• Cover letter

  When prompted, please ensure that you provide a third-person biography, so we can get to know you and your writing a bit better. Take care to include your location, previous publications (if applicable), and interests. If your work is accepted, your biography is potentially subject to editing, but not to the actual information.

• Eligibility

  Young creators
  Only ages 12-18 years old are eligible to submit, however, if you would like us to consider an exception, please email us at lookingglassrevieww@gmail.com, where we will then make a decision.

• Formatting

  If possible, typing in size 12, Times New Roman, would be greatly appreciated. Please do not submit any work typed in hard-to-read fonts, or excessively enlarged fonts. Double-check for any grammatical/mechanical errors!

• Author's rights

  If your work was not previously published, The Looking Glass Review will hold first North American serial and electronic rights for accepted works, these rights will return to the author/artist after publication.

Please make sure all submitted work adheres to the submission guidelines, located on the submission page of our website. This page also houses FAQs, so before emailing us specific questions be sure to check that out. We edit/provide feedback on all submitted work (if wanted), accepted or rejected, for free! All accepted works however are subject to mandatory editing. Because this is a completely free service, assigned to a currently small team of editors, your work may take longer to reach you after submission, especially if we receive a large influx of submissions.
