Fiction - 6000 words max

We accept flash fiction, short stories, short scripts/one act scripts, comic strips/sequential art, and other experimental forms of fiction. We prefer pieces that are 1000-4000 words. DO NOT SUBMIT: More than three flash fiction pieces in one semester.

Nonfiction - 5000 words max

We accept memoir, personal essays, and all forms of creative nonfiction. We prefer pieces that are 500-3000 words long. DO NOT SUBMIT: Research papers/critical essays of any kind.

Poetry

Max pieces: 3

Individual poems must not be longer than 3 pages in length. All forms of poetry

Art

We accept all forms of traditional 2D artwork (painting, drawing, etc.), digital art, photography, and high quality images of 3D artwork. We also accept comic strips/sequential artwork.

    We ONLY accept submissions from current undergraduate students. Undergraduates who graduated one semester prior to the current submission period may also submit. (I.e., if you graduated in spring, you may submit the following fall, or vice versa.)

  • Formatting

    Submissions must be double-spaced, in 12 pt. font, Times New Roman, and submitted as a Word/.docx file. Poems must be single-spaced and submitted as a Word/.docx file. If there is a special visual format to your poem, consider submitting it as a PDF.

  • Author's rights

    We don't have rights information for this magazine

  • Additional info

    We ONLY accept work from current undergraduates and undergrads who have graduated one semester prior to the current submission period (i.e. if you graduated in Spring, you are allowed to submit the following Fall, or vice versa). We are an international magazine – no matter what university you attend in the world, as long as you’re an undergraduate, we want to read your work!
