The Kudzu Review is Florida State University’s premiere undergraduate journal of literature and art. We publish biannual magazines featuring exceptional work from undergraduate creatives across the country.

Since its founding in 1988, The Kudzu Review has established a reputation for publishing high-quality creative works written and produced by undergraduate students at the Florida State University. Recently The Kudzu Review has expanded its borders to receive and publish the pieces of undergraduate students from around the country. Its mission has always been to foster a united community of student artists and writers and to share these students’ works within the Florida State University community and beyond. With the help of a faculty consulting adviser, The Kudzu Review publishes twice a year, showcasing the best of what FSU and all undergraduate students have to offer.

We ONLY accept submissions from current undergraduate students. Undergraduates who graduated one semester prior to the current submission period may also submit. (I.e., if you graduated in spring, you may submit the following fall, or vice versa.)

Not just words. These magazines publish paintings, comics, illustrations, and other visual art alongside or instead of traditional text-based work.
