Minerva Rising Press

The Keeping Room is an online magazine for all women writers, poets, and artists.

Minerva Rising, an independent literary press, celebrates the creativity and wisdom in every woman by giving them space to tell their stories and to tell them well.

We publish thought-provoking and insightful fiction, creative non-fiction, and poetry. We pride ourselves on building a supportive community of women, because we believe that when women come together, we flourish.

We are committed to working with both established and emerging women writers to hone and develop their craft in the direction of growth – both personally and professionally.

Just as the Goddess Minerva represented creativity, wisdom, medicine, commerce, arts and education, our press provides the opportunity for women artist to share their diverse experiences and talents in order to nurture a collective creativity.
