The theme for this issue is Survival.
The theme of Survival explores the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity, emphasizing the strength, determination, and adaptability required to overcome life's challenges. It delves into personal stories of endurance, moments of crisis, and the quiet perseverance that often goes unnoticed, highlighting the universal struggle to persist amidst hardship. This theme invites writers to reflect on the ways individuals and communities confront obstacles, whether physical, emotional, or societal, and emerge transformed or renewed through their experiences.
Writers are encouraged to delve into emotional or psychological resilience during times of loss, trauma, or personal growth. Other approaches could include societal survival amid conflict or oppression, the persistence of cultural traditions in changing environments, or metaphorical journeys of overcoming internal struggles.
