While we are a general review for excellent poetry in all forms, styles, and voices, we especially invite and support poets from historically under-represented communities, and those who seek to address the world’s imbalances caused by ecological harm and other political and social malpractices. Note: Submissions are free at this point in time. If, during our open periods, we reach our submissions limit before the official closing date (which can happen, so submit early) we will close earlier than posted. We typically reach 400 submissions or more. River Mouth Review nominates poets’ work for the Best of the Net Anthology, the Orison Anthology and the Pushcart Prize.
