Pulch Mag is a small independent publication for young West Australian artists and writers. We produce print editions and online publications, specialising in works of fiction, poetry and non-fiction.

Pulch Mag is an independent publication dedicated to showcasing the creativity and diversity of young artists and writers in Western Australia. Established in 2020 by Luisa Mitchell, Jay Anderson, and Chris Leopardi, the magazine provides a platform for emerging creatives to share their work and connect with peers. Pulch Mag publishes both print editions and online content, featuring fiction, poetry, and non-fiction pieces. The inaugural print edition, Pulch Issue One, was released in 2021, followed by Issue Two in 2022. After a brief hiatus in 2023 to reorganize, the magazine resumed with Pulch Issue Three in 2024, focusing on the theme 'Change and Perseverance in WA' and featuring contributions from 15 local artists and writers. In 2025, we released Pulch Issue Four with 27 contributors, which is available now at Crow Books, Boundless Books, Planet Books and New Edition, or through our online store. As we move onto 2026, we are excited to start production on Pulch Issue Five, so please keep an eye out on our newsletters and socials for updates.
