• Eligibility

  Creators from a specific location / ethnic group
  Only accepting work related to Michigan's environment. Authors from outside the state are welcome to submit work related to time spent with nature in Michigan (we do not have a residency requirement) but our themes should be clearly reflected in your submission.

• Formatting

  Please send all writing as a .pdf, .doc, or .docx file.

• Author's rights

  Importantly, you will retain all copyright over your work, but you allow Peninsula Arts Magazine to publish and use it in perpetuity. Specific language from our publishing contracts: In consideration of the Peninsula Arts Magazine publishing the Work, and effective upon signing this form, I grant the Peninsula Arts Magazine a non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, perform, and display the Work or portions of the Work, and to sublicense others to reproduce, distribute, perform, and display the Work or portions of the Work in electronic media, including, but not limited to electronic publication in perpetuity, social media, computerized retrieval systems, as well as periodicals, journals, and other forms of print and electronic media. In the event that authors, publishers, compilers of educational material, or other interested parties wish to print all or part of the Work, Peninsula Arts Magazine will not grant permission without prior consent from the Contributor.
