  • Cover letter

We find no fault with the industry-standard third-person biography. Yet, we do encourage you to be your most genuine self. Mentioning your current reading, a current project, or even why you create provides additional insight into your work that is often appreciated. We ask that all submissions include a third person bio that can be published alongside accepted pieces. We want to know whose work we are considering.

  • Eligibility

    No specific eligibility requirements

  • Formatting

POETRY SUBMISSIONS should contain 3-5 poems, with each poem on a new page, not to exceed 10 pages. Poems should be formatted as the author wishes them to appear once published. All submissions should be submitted in a single DOC or DOCX file type. Hybrid/combined submissions are welcome but must not exceed 10 pages. PROSE SUBMISSIONS should not be longer than 7,500 words. We accept fiction, memoir, essays, science fiction, flash, and more. Please submit a single piece per submission. Flash should be in 12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced, and 1500 words max. Longer prose should be in 12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced, and between 1500 and 7500 words. Please note in your cover letter the word count of your piece. Please note in your cover letter whether your piece is fiction or nonfiction. All submissions should be submitted as a DOC or DOCX file type.
