      We need to be aware of Canadian content. We DO buy works from non-Canadians, but our mandate was always to showcase works by writers from our own country. Payment. Poems (4-100 lines): $100 CAD plus a one-year subscription and 2 contributor copies. Short-short stories (under 2000 words): $100 CAD, plus a one-year subscription and 2 contributor copies. Fiction (6000 words max.) $0.05 CAD per word plus 2 contributor’s copies plus a One year subscription.
