Our purpose is to provide creatives with a space to communicate the inescapable themes, experiences, and people that arise prominently in their work or linger in the background, winking a secret message.

We are a journal of fixation. For whatever you find yourself contemplating with the fervor of a beloved, consider LEP its home.

General call

We are looking for contributors for our upcoming project Skylar: An Exquisite Corpse which will be published in March 2027. The prompt for the project is the name Skylar and is open-ended for a reason. We want to see the character of Skylar (whoever you make them to be) through your eyes and have you play a role in the shape their life takes. Though our prompt is open-ended, one of our requirements is hyper-specific. As this is a work of fiction created through the exquisite corpse method, you will choose to either write a beginning, middle, or ending to Skylar’s story. We want writing that we can easily attach to other stories. <div><br></div><div>This is a project of fiction.
