Process

We use Submittable.

Cover letters

You must specify the genre of the work, your name and pseudonym (if any), the word count (prose only) and complete contact information and include a 75-word bio written in the third person.

Eligibility

Creators from a specific location / ethnic group

Formatting

Your work must be typed using a standard, legible font (i.e, the equivalent of 12-point Times New Roman) with flush-left margins and submitted as a single .doc, .docx, .pdf, .rtf or .txt file.

When we accept a piece, we obtain first-publication rights only.

Additional info

If we publish your work, we will give you one copy of the issue in which your work appears and the opportunity to read or discuss your work at the issue’s launch event. We do not accept multiple submissions
