Literary Liberation

Literary Liberation is looking for enthusiastic volunteer columnists to keep our community lively and diverse. We are interested in bookish and book-adjacent columns as well as wellness, and parenting columns that are quick, informative, and fun (where necessary). Love putting lists together, doing writing-related astrology, want to talk about tv shows and writing, gather craft advice? Come write with us! Columns run for 3 months (12 posts), 6 months (24 posts), or indefinitely. This is a voluntary role. Writers receive comp'd membership for the duration of your column, gain access to our WhatsApp community and have the ability to secure one free workshop a year.

We're interested in: essays on craft, essays on building your writer’s toolkit, essays on the writing life, interviews (single or series) on where you write, detailed writing exercises, roundups of writing opportunities, deep dives into a book or an author’s body of work with a liberatory, global majority centered, activists lens. Previously published work is welcome!
