  • Additional info

like a field supports and dreams of a free Palestine, and stands emphatically with Writers Against the War on Gaza by way of The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel. PACBI was founded in Ramallah in 2004 and is part of the wider Boycott, Divest, and Sanction movement. Commitment to PACBI involves: - refusing the normalization of Israeli violence against Palestinians in any part of life, including our art, literary, and educational communities - joining a global cultural front pressuring Israel to end its genocide and apartheid of Palestinian people, and the occupation of Palestinian land - refraining from participation in academic or cultural events and projects sponsored by the Israeli government, Israel lobby groups, and complicit Israeli institutions - refusing material support from the state of Israel and to reject projects that normalize Israel’s forced dispossession of Palestinians We encourage other cultural institutions to demonstrate their solidarity with Palestine and the struggle to end Israeli occupation and genocide.
