Quarterly online magazine of international speculative fiction ⬣ We publish the weird, wondrous, and whimsical!

Hexagon represents a diverse community of authors and artists who are passionate about short form speculative fiction. We currently accept both English and French short fiction. For more information, see our Submission Guidelines. We publish quarterly, with issues releasing on March 1st, June 1st, September 1st, and December 1st.

Editor in chief JW Stebner (he/him) has been writing and reading speculative fiction for over 15 years. JW has edited 13 issues of Hexagon Magazine and is also editing Arthopoda, an upcoming anthology from Perennial Press, scheduled for release in 2023. JW reads every single submission and edits each piece for Hexagon, so you can be sure that your work has been read by the editor before a response is sent.

We do our best to submit our published pieces for Pushcart, Best of Net, and as many “Best of” anthologies as we can!
