Rights for published work
We buy first North American and foreign serial rights and an option on anthology rights. All other rights are retained by the author.
Additional info
F&SF encourages original submissions from the world, from diverse voices, classes, and perspectives, and we welcome works that are intergenerational and intersectional. Concentrated on speculative fiction: fantasy, science fiction, horror, unclassified works. Do not accept simultaneous submissions. We prefer not to see more than one submission from a writer at a time. Payment is 8-12 cents per word on acceptance.
