How to submit

• Cover letter

  Include your preferred publication name, your social media handles Twitter, Instagram, and a photograph (this photo should be one you’ve taken such as a selfie) to accompany your poem or feature in the magazine. If you’re the author of a poetry book or collections, do share. Going forwards please keep identifying information off of your document name and work content as we align with blind reading practices or it will be declined. Provide a 5-8 sentence bio, ideally 5 sentences. Include a short bit about the backstory to your submission on another page and what you feel comfortable sharing of course for our print calls.

  Bipoc, Creators With Disabilities, LGBTQ+, Other
  Writers, artists, and creators of all ages.

• Formatting

  Submit up to 3 poems in a single ideally .doc or 3 prose writes for general subs category when oprm. For fiction short stories ensure no more than 3 stories and 1-2.5 pages each again. We're not picky on font but prefer Times New Roman 11pt. Remember our mag will standardize the font anyway across each poem whether it be chosen for online or print. Ensure each poem is on its own page. Read our format requirements for each different sub type in Submittable.

• Author's rights

  You retain rights to your work and we just ask that you mention or credit Dipity Literary Magazine as the first publication place in any future reshares.

• Additional info

  Zero reading fees for first-time submitters excluding some categories! We just want to share awesome writing with the world! Short stories only may be previously published and in our bonus shares sections. Feedback response is sometimes available for poetry submissions with a fee. Our poetry community podcasts allow for previously published work to be read. Never stop writing and creating!
