Contest winners in both categories will receive $1,000 prizes and publication in our print issue. 

Former and current students of the judges should refrain from submitting. 

Anyone currently affiliated with the University of Idaho is not eligible to submit to this contest and should refrain from submitting until they have been unaffiliated for three years.

Poetry Contest submissions should include 1-3 poems per submission in a .doc, .docx (preferred), or .PDF document.

General call

Prose Contest submissions should include no more than one piece per submission in a .doc, .docx (preferred), or .PDF document. We ask that submissions not exceed 7000 words.
