Bacopa Literary Review is an annual international print journal published by the Writers Alliance of Gainesville. $200 Award and $100 Honorable Mention in each of five categories: Fiction, Creative Non-Fiction, Formal Poetry, Free Verse Poetry, and Visual Poetry

Bacopa Literary Review Contest

Submissions will be open 3/3/25-5/5/25. $3 Submissions fee. Prizes in each category--one Award ($200 prize) and one Honorable Mention ($100 prize). 
Formatting: Up to 2,500 words, Arial 12 point font, double-spaced. Submit as .doc, .docx, or .rtf file. 

Bacopa Contest 2025

Formatting: Up to 2,500 words, Arial 12 point font, double-spaced. Submit as .doc, .docx, or .rtf file.
We publish true stories, written beautifully, and based on the author’s experiences, perceptions, and reflections in the form of personal memoir or literary essay (for example, nature, travel, medical, spiritual, and food writing).

Poetry:
For Formal Poetry, please submit 1-3 poems. Please note what poetic form you are using on the page. 

For Free-Verse Poetry, please submit 1-2 poems.

For Visual Poetry, please only submit 1 poem, a .jpeg/.jpg file in black and white that can fit on a 6x9 page.

Do not double space. Limit each poem to 88 lines, including spaces between stanzas. Arial 12 point font.
