Ava Zechiel is a poet based in Washington, DC where they were born and raised. In between museum visits and cat snuggles, they are often reconnecting with nature in a park, or in their apartment with their plants. They write to reckon with their mental health, to scream into the void, and every once in a while, to feel at home in their body and on Earth.
