William Torrey's writing has appeared widely in American literary magazines, including The Missouri Review, The Florida Review, Colorado Review, Boulevard and River Teeth. He's earned support from The Delaware Division of the Arts, the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. A professor of writing at Hampden-Sydney, he lives in Richmond with his wife and sons. His novella, Freedom of Movement, is forthcoming from Regal House Press.
