Christy Wise

Christy Wise is author of Tangible Terrain, a poetry chapbook (Finishing Line Press), and co-author of A Mouthful of Rivets: Women at Work in World War II (Jossey-Bass). Christy’s writing centers around exploring the world, large and small. She values the deep-rooted healing of nature. Christy’s poem “Tony’s Cocoon” was a finalist in the Julia Darling Memorial Poetry Prize. Christy’s essay “Memory Book” was designated a notable essay in Best American Essays 2010.
