William J. Cagle (he/they) is an author of spec fic, the Speculative Fiction Editor at Variant Literature, and a Humanities teacher. They have written podcasts, including Season Three of the climate justice show "A Matter of Degrees." He holds an MFA in Speculative Fiction from Sarah Lawrence College and studied Creative Writing and Anthropology at Columbia University. He is an amputee and writes on disability and the environment, currently based in San Francisco, California.
