Ruth Underhill RN, BSN, MFA is the founder and owner of Tongass Mist Writing, a creative writing resource offering editing services, retreats, tutoring and online or local Southeast Alaska creative writing classes and events. She teaches writing for the University of Alaska Southeast, Sitka and is the Library Director at Tenakee Springs' public library. Ruth also writes her own essays, poems and stories. She completed her Masters in Writing at Vermont College of Fine Arts.
