Thomas Brassington

Tom completed their PhD in 2023. It examined representations of gender variance in gothic and horror fiction, film, media and performance. After a brief stint as a working academic, he is now playing at writer. Tom remains interested in writing nonfiction pieces that explore gender and queerness, but is also working on fiction writing that seems to be taking a more comic turn. We'll see how this experiment turns out.
