Publishing since 2010, The Lyre Magazine is an annual student-led literary journal, supported by SFU's Department of World Languages and Literatures. The lyrebird we are named after is a poised mimic, and in its call incorporates the resonances of the world that surrounds it. Its intention is not to blend, but to challenge. Like the bird, we amplify the diverse and magnetic emerging literary voices from SFU and beyond.
