Susan has written for national publications including The Washington Post, the New York Post, Travel+Leisure, Health and Reader's Digest. She works in college communications and teaches writing. She is the author of Why Animals Sleep So Close to the Road and two other books on family. USA Today called her debut book "hilarious, brilliant, downright Bombeckian." Susan publishes a Substack column called Life in the 60s about everyday feats at midlife.
