Summer Smiciklas is 23 years old. She graduated from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, where she studied writing and fine art. Currently, she attends the MFA program at Florida Atlantic University. She has been published in the literary journals Girls Write the World and Outrageous Fortune. Summer has three cats, and she considers them to be her writing assistants.
