She has a background in substance abuse & mental health fields, & is back in school to take that further; her goal is to continue helping people in ways that make sense for her. Writing is the newest part of that & her greatest passion. She's working on a novel, an autofiction coming-of-age story about addiction, mental illness, & the stigmas surrounding both, including the ones that turn people with these struggles against each other. Her hope is to reach the people still feeling alone in it.
