Sophia Ross Eckert (she/her) is a writer, editor, and educator from Ottawa, Canada. She holds an MFA in Fiction from George Mason University, where she also served as editor-in-chief of Phoebe Journal. Her prose has appeared in the Santa Clara Review and the Pinch, and is forthcoming in the West Trade Review. She's currently developing a new literary journal to celebrate the rough patches of a creative life, launching in 2025.
