Sonali Kolhatkar is an award-winning journalist, broadcaster and writer, and host/executive producer of a long-running TV/radio show, Rising Up With Sonali. She has been published in The Nation, LA Times, Salon and more. She was awarded a Hedgebrook residency in 2024 and her short story “Mythic Muse” won 3rd place at the Empyrean Literary Magazine’s Winter 2025 fiction contest. Her debut novel, Queen of Aarohi, is forthcoming in 2027 by Red Hen Press and she is a 2026 Pushcart Prize Nominee.
