Selene Hofstetter is a kendo addicted, cat-loving, wants to go to Nagano, Japan, poet. She is a second-year graduate student in Colorado State University’s MFA poetry program who spends her time reading Native American memoirs, learning Japanese as a hobby, and running around Colorado with a shinai doing Kendo. She obsessively writes about her Native family, spirits, Celiac disease diagnosis, and kendo.
