Steve Grover

Steve Grover is a recovering economist living in Oregon where he writes short fiction. When not at his writing desk, he can often be found fly fishing or playing the fiddle (rarely at the same time). Steve has an MFA in Fiction from Pacific University and a PhD in economics from the University of Wisconsin. He attended the 2025 Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, and his first short story “Bread for the World” was recently published in After Dinner Conversation.
