Sandra Phinney has penned four nonfiction books as well as feature articles for over 70 magazines and newspapers. She's also a professional photographer. Three years ago her focus turned to writing personal essays (memoir and travel). Sandra was the Writer In Residence at the UNESCO Joggins Fossil Cliffs in Nova Scotia, and a mentor for the Alistair MacLeod Mentorship Program. She gives online courses for various writing organizations. In her spare time she canoes in the wilderness.
