Samantha Cyan is a high school junior visual arts student at Perpich Center for Arts Education, Rochester MN resident, little sister, daughter, and writer. Within her work she explores themes of nostalgia and connections between her peers, culture, and family. She is also passionate about social justice and mental health, this is reflected within the volunteer work she does through her school's NAHS. When she's not creating art she can be found exploring nature or dancing at local punk shows.
