Ryan Kindred is a Pittsburgh-based writer, editor, and social services worker. His fiction and poetry grapple with the tension between masculinity, connectedness, and illness. He earned an MFA from Chatham University, where he received the Creative Excellence Award. His work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize & PEN/Dau Award. He previously published under the name RK Taylor.
