Rowan is a journalist, editor, critic and activist whose work covers the intersection of radical imagination and niche cultural movements. She is the founder of the industry-altering, worker-owned TTRPG outlet Rascal News. Her writing has appeared in Polygon, Tripsitter, Autostraddle, and The Fandomentals. She is also co-founder of WriteHive, a literary non-profit which hosts annual conventions, workshops, and writing retreats.
