Roger was born in London and has lived in the North East of England for over 50 years. He retired in 2012 from working in health care and now writes mostly flash fiction, some short stories, the occasional poem and script and has had stuff published online but not, yet, in print. As a volunteer, he supports creative story writing workshops for children and young people. He is also a gardener who grows fruit and veg which, he thinks, is also a creative thing to do
